This is called "constructive retaliation" or may rise to the level of constructive dismissal. If your employer created intolerable working conditions (hostile treatment, impossible targets, demotion, isolation, or schedule cuts) in response to your protected complaint — forcing you to quit — courts may treat your resignation as a termination and hold the employer liable for retaliation damages.
