DiscriminationRace

What are examples of race discrimination at work?

Answer

Race discrimination includes: being passed over for promotions in favor of less-qualified employees of a different race; receiving worse performance reviews based on race; being assigned the worst shifts, tasks, or locations; racial slurs or harassment by supervisors or co-workers; being disproportionately targeted in layoffs; and being paid less than similarly situated employees of different races. California's CROWN Act also protects against discrimination based on natural hair and hairstyles.
