Must my employer accommodate my religious practices?

Yes. Under FEHA and Title VII, employers must reasonably accommodate sincerely held religious beliefs and practices — including scheduling changes for Sabbath or religious holidays, dress code modifications for religious clothing (hijab, kippah, turban, cross), and exemptions from workplace activities that conflict with beliefs — unless doing so creates an undue hardship. Employers must engage in the interactive process and cannot simply refuse.
